Ex-UDP loyalists Yunus Hydara calls for Party’s to be dissolve

Former opposition United Democratic Party (UDP) loyalist Yunus Hydra has launched a blistering criticism of the party.

He accused it of creating a “dangerous moral precedent” between 2017 and 2019 that continues to affect national discourse today.

Hydra argued that the party’s conduct during that period “eroded moral clarity” in the country to the point where “anytime truth is spoken, whataboutism immediately follows”.

Hydra further stated that distancing himself from the party brought “relief” after years of what he described as a “continuous cloud of moral hazard”.

“Your behaviour during this period still hunts this country,” he wrote, before ending with a shocking conclusion.

“The party needs to dissolve ASAP.”
