The Police have commenced prosecution proceedings in an alleged sexual offence case involving a minor against Mr. Kemeseng Sanneh, also known as “Kexx.”
The matter was called before the Court. Children’s Court on Wednesday, May 7, 2026. During proceedings, the prosecution filed a motion seeking a court order for DNA confirmation.
The defence subsequently raised a preliminary objection before the The Court adjourned the matter to June 4, 2026, for prosecution to reply on the preliminary objection raised by the defense. The Gambia Police Force remains committed to due process, the rule of law, and the protection of vulnerable persons, particularly children.
