National Infrastructure Projects Underway

Multiple projects across The Gambia highlight the government’s commitment to public welfare. These include:

• Construction of a 1,500-bed hospital in Farato.
• 25 ambulances handed over to the Ministry of Health.
• New school buses and public transport buses deployed nationwide.
• Four model police stations built in Serekunda, Bundung, Bakoteh, and Brusubi.
• Launch of the Water Supply Project (WASIB) to benefit over 1 million residents.
• New university of science and technology in Brikama.
• Renovation of a CAF-approved national sports stadium.

Each initiative reflects President Barrow’s vision to improve healthcare, education, transportation, and access to basic services across the country.
