Mohammed BS Jallow has chaired a senior management meeting with Heads of Units at the Office of the Vice President at Banjul.
The meeting brought together unit heads to review internal operations, assess progress on ongoing assignments, and strengthen coordination across departments within the office.
Discussions focused on improving efficiency, enhancing reporting systems, and ensuring that all units remain aligned with the strategic priorities of the Vice President’s office.
Vice President Jallow underscored the importance of discipline, professionalism, and results-oriented leadership among Heads of Units.
“The role of Heads of Units is critical in ensuring effective performance, accountability and timely delivery of government priorities,” he said.
He called for renewed commitment to teamwork and stronger coordination in the execution of duties, stressing that institutional efficiency remains central to public service delivery.
The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to improve administrative performance and strengthen the operational capacity of the Office of the Vice President. Officials said the initiative is aimed at ensuring that the office continues to function effectively in delivering on its mandate.
