Brikama, The Gambia – May 2025
As part of its commitment to expanding access to education and fostering national development, the Adama Barrow administration has launched a new University of Science and Technology in Brikama, West Coast Region. The institution is designed to offer cutting-edge training in applied sciences, engineering, and technology.
The university aims to equip a new generation of Gambian professionals with the technical skills required to compete regionally and globally. The government envisions this facility as a hub for innovation, research, and industry collaboration—vital elements in achieving The Gambia’s long-term development goals.
